What to do if you’re injured!

If you are injured in any type of accident, first and foremost seek medical attention. Your main concern in the event of an injury should be getting better.

In addition, you should take pictures of the accident scene. This may include getting pictures of: the cars involved, the intersection, the liquid that you slipped on, the loose carpeting that you tripped on, the injuries that you suffered, or any other relevant evidence.

Finally, you should try to get the names and contact information for any witnesses. If you do not do this, at the scene of the accident, you may never be able to find them. If you can’t find them, they will not be able to testify on your behalf and the party who injured you (and their insurance company) may walk away without having to provide the compensation that you deserve.
